North Balgowlah

Prior the renovation, the bathroom had a wall separating the toilet from the rest of the space. We proposed to knock down the wall and combine both spaces to create a spacious light filled bathroom. The result is a modern and bright space that is perfect for a busy family household. The patterned hexagonal tile was used to create a stunning tile design to make the floor the “hero” of this space. We mixed the patterned tile with a marble look hexagonal tile to break down the pattern and create visual interest. We used the same tiles on the wall to offset a beautiful freestanding bath and create a stunning feature. The freestanding bath is back to the wall and unlike freestanding baths, it’s low maintenance. The custom made floor mounted vanity is spacious and provides ample storage for all family members. Its sleek design works well with oval semi inset basins that bring the classic style of the past into the future. The organic shape of the basins adds a soft touch to a modern design while still being functional. The pin lever extended basin mixers allow the hands to fit under the spout and make a unique statement in the bathroom. Mirrored shaving cabinet is another beautiful but practical element in the bathroom. It provides extra storage but also allows the light to bounce around making the space visually larger.
